The book has been arranged and presented in a systematic manner divided into various headings and sub-headings so as to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the subject.

Efforts have been made to explain and elaborate the articles and provisions of the Indian Constitution in an accurate and concise manner and to cover all important provisions from the examination point of view.

Various constitutional provisions and issues related to Indian Polity and Governance have been presented briefly, point wise with latest updates and most recent amendments.

At the end of the book, about 300 MCQ’s from the examination point of view has been added for the convenience and easy access of the students. The pace of developments in the Indian political system while writing this book have been so fast that I had a tough time keeping track of the recent changes and amendments. I have however, tried my best to follow them up and include them in this book.
